Having trained with Mat for over 4 months on a 1-2-1 basis, I can honestly say that he’s by far the best trainer I’ve worked with.

His approach to understanding your goals and helping you achieve them is his paramount aim and working with you, he’ll make sure you attain them.

He does this with a combination of well structured and planned out sessions and an in-depth knowledge on how to best get what you want out of training.

Beware training with him is addictive! No two sessions will ever be the same, as Mat varies the program with kettlebells, cardio, weights etc, which will see you progress and enjoy each session more and more. No more boring gym routines!

From full-time athletes to those who haven’t exercised since school, I’d highly recommend Mat, because his knowledge and experience at tailoring a program to suit you is first class. No one-size-fits-all approach, no nonsense and most importantly no goal too out of reach to actualise.

I’m looking forward to continuing my training with Mat and have even hired him as my strength and conditioning coach at my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club.

If you’re reading this I would urge you to book him, before he gets too busy!

I would just like to say a big thank you for the new service you are offering at the gym this year, in the form of absolute fitness – Personal Fitness Training. I have joined and given up so many times before at the gym. But for the last three months, I have been attending two or three times a week. Although I don’t see Richard every time, he encourages attending in between his sessions.

Since being back at the gym, Richard has pushed my fitness levels far beyond anything I could have achieved on my own.

My Problem with the gym has always been boredom, but since having a Personal Trainer, I have not only been doing the usual workouts, but I now do some circuit training, boxing, and he has even managed to get me onto the squash court!

…Richard is a personable and professional young man. Always friendly and encouraging, and best of all, makes my gym visits fun! I only wish I had known about him sooner!

Personal Training with absolute fitness has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only has Richard guided me through a well structured and varied workout routine, but he has also educated me along the way, informing me of everything we have worked on and why it is important.

I have lost almost all of my desired target weight loss, and improved greatly on my cardiovascular fitness (even getting the terminology right now!). I can now jog for a whole 30 mins and completed my first ever 5Km Charity Run a few months ago (something I never thought possible).
